Talia Jackson Drops Hopeful Anthem “19”

Pop singer-songwriter and actress Talia Jackson has built quite a fanbase with her break-out role as “Jade” in Netflix’s NAACP award-winning series Family Reunion and with string of exceptional music releases throughout the past year.

In her latest single and visuals entitled “19,” the rising star tells the narrative of growing up too fast in the entertainment industry, but then finding someone who cares about her deeply and who supports her journey. Jackson confides, “I grew up fast, the industry will do that to you, especially if you get started young. I’ve always felt like I’ve been around longer than I actually have and I’ve struggled with my mental health for so long that I was exhausted with life. Then I met a person who made me feel so incredibly seen & heard that even the shitty days felt like heaven. He showed me that there is so much more to life than just the bad moments & helped me feel safe enough to be one thousand percent me.” Hopeful, vibrant, and colorful, the song has all of the attributes of Talia’s signature style, while the visuals convey a strong message about the pressures often felt by our younger generation.
