Nate DiRuzza Sings of an Island Sanctuary at “Playa del Amor”

Nate DiRuzza captures the essence of a tropical, beachfront night in newest single “Playa del Amor.” Orange sunsets and sangria are on the mind when this track comes on shuffle; transporting listeners to a sandy oasis, the Spanish-influenced rock track will have you wanting to visit DiRuzza’s island sanctuary.

“It’s very metaphorical and kind of a secret to what it means,” DiRuzza explains. “An ‘unfamiliar place’ that warns: you will lose yourself here.”

Enticing and seductive, DiRuzza is a storyteller with lyrics such as “Cause we’re dancing and I’m losing, What my heart has always feared, Playa del Amor, All I want is more.” The hot and heavy single features reggae inspired rhythms that draw listeners to a euphoric paradise.

DiRuzza produced the song with Jamie Tate and Dan Hodges, together they flawlessly blended the obvious island sound with a rock twinge, creating the hit. “The production of this song kept blowing me away as we added to it. I really love how it turned out,” the singer-songwriter expressed. Throughout the song, the layered instrumentals gives you the feeling of leading up to a grand finale— an ending to an enchanted night at “Playa del Amor.”
