It’s hard to choose what to listen to since there is so much music out there, the best bet is to listen to a wee bit of everything. I grew up listening to a plethora of music thanks to my mum and Nana who were very eclectic in what was playing on the radio, the record player or the 8 track. After being in the Music PR business for over 30 years I have had the honour of working with every genre of music out there and I have always dug the music of those I have represented. To cut to the chase… my musical exposure as a child and my long career in Music PR In can say with expertise that the best course for everyone is to not pigeon hole what you listen to. Sure always listen to your favourites, the classics and the genre you always hon in on but to truly enjoy the universal language of music listen to everything.
